Mendenhall Glacier

Enjoy a narrated transfer to the spectacular Mendenhall Glacier and its Visitor Center, where a ranger can satisfy your curiosity about the natural wonders there. Roam the grounds, snap photos, take in the interactive exhibits and have the chance to watch bears feast on salmon.

Whale watching was one of the prime events on my Alaskan Cruise. This tour made sure we saw whales and 10 whales were located and seen. They were majestic. The botanist on our ship was informative and I learned a lot of information on the feeding, birthing and migration of these majestic animals. A must do. The Salmon Bake topped off the tour. Yummy food and delicious fresh salmon.

Fabulous time whale watching. We saw 6 whales from our boat skippered by a wonderful captain. Snapped great pics . Once in a lifetime adventure. Our Guide was a great Bloke who was very knowledgable and communicated well with us all. Highly recommended.

We book this excursion prior to our cruise and found it to be well organized all the way from bus trip with Drew up to the glacier for sight seeing that came with a un scripted Black bear encounter on a trail and beautiful scenery. Then on to Whale watching on the boat with Captain Tom and Naturalist Katie that were both entertaining and informative ,saw plenty of whales and were lucky enough to see them Bubble net feeding. To end off the excursion we had a picnic style salmon bake meal near a stream and old mine. Highly recommend this package for first time visitors.
