Join an experienced naturalist guide on a wildlife safari tour of Yellowstone National Park with a focus on the geology, wildlife, and natural history of Yellowstone National Park.

The guides at Jackson Hole Wildlife Safaris will make every effort to showcase as many highlights as possible, and will structure the day around making your experience a memorable one. They will take current road conditions, weather, seasonality, and your personal interests into consideration as they move through the park. This wildlife safari will make frequent stops as opportunities for wildlife viewing present themselves.

  • Suitable for all physical fitness levels
  • The minimum age for wildlife safaris is 8 years old. (Private safaris have no age minimum.)
  • For groups of 14 guests or less: We have a 48-hour cancellation policy for all single day safaris and a 14-day cancellation policy for all 2-3 day safaris. For multi-day safaris of 4 days or more, we have a 30-day cancellation policy. Cancellations made before the policy goes into effect will receive a full refund with no penalty. Cancellations made within the cancellation policy period will not be refunded. For groups of 15 or more guests: We have a 30-day cancellation policy. Cancellations made before the policy goes into effect will receive a refund minus a 10% fee. Cancellations made within the cancellation policy period will not be refunded. We highly recommend obtaining travel insurance before your departure to protect you from incurring any costs associated with unforeseen circumstances that prevent you from joining us.

We had Moose as our tour guide. He was fantastic and his knowledge of Yellowstone and the wildlife was incredible. We highly recommend this tour, especially because it's such a small group environment so you feel part of the group. Our group had a blast. Ask for moose you won't be disappointed!!

We highly recommend this tour, and if you can arrange to have Mike as your tour guide you will be very satisfied. Of course none of these wildlife tours can guarantee that you will see everything you want too, as we are dealing with wildlife in a preserve, but thanks to Mike we saw elk, lots of bison, a cinnamon black bear, and deer. He also took us to see the Yellowstone Grand Canyon and it's falls, Old Faithful, and Geyser Hill.

Mike was very knowledgable about both the geology and history regarding both Grand Tetons and Yellowstone National Parks, and he was very personable with a wonderful sense of humor. Great tour and great guide! It is worth the cost!
