This was the most interesting and informative tour Iā€™ve been on; Sarah was an amazing guide giving us extra nuggets of information about the people of Salem. Some of the stories were heavy and really made you think, but Sarah managed to end on a light and inspiring tone. It was a great birthday experience for me!! Highly recommend, especially in the evening hours!

What an absolute hoot. With about a thousand walking tours available in Salem, I cannot recommend Bewitched After Dark highly enough. A tour is only as good as its guide and, while you can easily wind up with some overenthusiastic, overly theatrical, fake accented nonsense, what we got in Jeff was a highly personable and knowledgeable guide who has clearly devoted a good chunk of his life to researching the facts and history behind the city of Salem and the witch trials. It certainly helped that he was born and raised in town and the bits of personal history he peppered into the tour added a great deal of color to an already infamous and storied period of American history. If you're looking for phony ghost stories and wikipedia-based factoids, look elsewhere. This is the real deal, loaded with history and, yes, just the right amount of lore to add mood. Definitely check this company out.
