This is the most well researched and honest tour by an honest and compassionate native of Salem. Jeff the Tour Guide quoted court documents and provided many books regarding the different points of view regarding the trial. He went into detail of the corruption of the time and how history has been shaped by this tragic even. Jeff deeply cares for the history and the victims of this time period and urged his patrons to speak out against the injustices we may see today as one unified voice.

This tour was so fun and informative. We learned so many interesting and thought-provoking details about the history of Salem. More than just witches, although that was a significant portion. Sarah was an awesome tour guide - funny where appropriate and respectful and reverent where appropriate. She’s a gem! If you are looking for a fun historical tour that has a great overview of Salem and it’s sights and memories, this is the one. We hit all the major stops along the “Salem Freedom Trail” Easy walking, places to stop and sit along the way. Note: burying grounds close at dusk, so if you want to walk around the tombstones up close, book for the day tour or plan to return the next day.
