Such a fun experience to learn about the Salem witch trials and to see the town. Sarah was a phenomenal tour guide that I would highly recommend!

We enjoyed our tour guide, Sarah, who was very knowledgeable. If possible, I would recommend taking a private tour. We would have enjoyed a smaller group tour.

This was an incredibly interesting tour! Our guide Sarah Black (great last name) was clearly very passionate about the history and of the witch trials and the awful things the victims went through during that period. The tour takes a refreshing human approach to the issues, rather than trivialising them with ghost stories and mystery. We passed numerous tours during our time in Salem and most of the other guides sounded more interested in cheap laughs and ghost stories. The truth is so much scarier and emotionally challenging than any ghost story, and Sarah does a brilliant job of conveying those brutal truths. We left the tour at the end feeling sad because of knowing what those women and men went through due to the evil and manipulation of other humans. But also we felt good as it is a fresh reminder of what we as humans should always be aware of. Witch hunts still happen. But the "Witches" take different (yet almost always innocent) forms.
