This 2 hour walking tour is a great way to start your stay in Salem and here’s why: - you’ll get a great overview of the history of the city & witch trials - you’ll see historical markers and get some tips about local foodie (drinks, meals, breakfast) places - Sarah’s energy and passion for Salem is contagious. You’ll leave excited to explore more and you’ll have a better understanding of the city’s background - Sarah’s tour kept everyone engaged and each stop tied together with the last. I’ve seen other comments by customers here saying they were rubbed the wrong way when the guide would tell bystanders they aren’t a part of the group and they can’t listen in, but that’s fair; we paid for it, they didn’t. I would be more upset if nothing was said and we had 10 freebie tagalongs. If you’re on the fence if you should book it let me help you- book it.

This tour is a must when visiting Salem! Our tour guide, Sara, was fabulous! She presented the history of the town in a fun, but very knowledgeable manner. She shared many facts as well as stories from that time period. Some were somber, some horrifying, but she always found a way to lighten the mood. We learned so much from each historical landmark that we stopped at. This tour was extremely entertaining even in the pouring rain! And a shouout to Sara for her recommendation to eat at Turners Seafood. Great meal, especially the pumpkin cheesecake!
