Hadwen House

View this historic home and museum, built in 1846 by William Hadwen. It's a prime example of the island's whaling success. Admission is $10 per person (or included if you purchase admission to the Whaling Museum).

We thought this was a great little tour. It starts off a little slow but it got better once we got to Main Street and some of the historic homes. The app worked well and in the end, there was quite a bit of information and history and we enjoyed it.

Okay app. I’m wondering if certain restaurants paid to be highlighted. Biggest problem is that it does not update current conditions like street closures which throw u off for continuing the tour. Too many gaps in narration between stops.

Hi Steven, thanks for taking the time to leave a review. No, the restaurants did not pay to be highlighted, they are merely our personal recommendations that we thought would be helpful. You're the second one to mention it though so perhaps we'll consider removing them.

Enjoyed it very easy to follow. Narration was excellent Narration was spot on. I find it annoying that you make us go on at length about the trip.
