Big bus hop-on hop-off is essential for the first time visiting San Francisco. Amar was helpful and kind to point me out every piece of info I needed to know. Alcatraz tour is really worth it, from the departure, the way to the island, and the prison itself.

BigBus never disappoints! This was our first visit to SF, and we did not know much about the city. We did not drive or rent a car, so this was an excellent option to see the city. I DON'T recommend driving if you are debating. We used the one day option and got around to seeing all of the major tourist spots. You drive over the Golden Gate too. The app worked fine for us to find stops, and busses came regularly. The audio tour is nice for facts about the city. Ride top level on a nice day because the views are awesome. Only used a one day pass and then used uber to go to other cool neighborhoods missed by the bus, like castro and the mission.

Big Bus tours were great. Definitely got to see a lot of the city and learned some interesting things. The staff is super friendly and helpful. We especially liked the night time tour with Terraysa. She was so much fun and also took great care of my mom.
