We used the road to Hana tour on Maui as well. Love this app. Download before you go and use as many times as you wish. I’ll do it again next time we return. So much good info and lots of thought and research put into it!

I would give this app a 4 1/2 stars because it is REALLY good. It beats reading all the tour books. The app takes you from turn to turn. I have to admit this is a very smart app. We just love it. We love the stories and culture that were shared. The person behind the app has a terrific voice. The only thing the app can improve on is to be consistent to give the driver a little bit more time (maybe about 30 seconds) before the turn off comes up since it is very easy to miss the turn off. We did miss quite a few. For some turn offs, we did get an advanced notice but not all. Also, it would be nice to always give a heads up whenever there will be a long silence between some highlights so make the drivers more comfortable in knowing what is coming up.

We used this app a year ago in Kauai it was so informational. WE just finished 4 of the tours on the big island . I can’t say how great this app is . This trip we noticed more Hawaii music between stops . We really liked the music as well as all the information. Won’t do another island with out this app.
