This really is a great tour and the value is amazing. 10 years ago I was here and paid for a professional tour. We actually did a lot more and found out more with this self guided tour and at your own pace, can't beat that!

Tour worked well with few glitches (mostly user). If you do the volcano tour when he says you’re half way, it seemed to us that we were much further than half way and finishing the tour was the best decision we made. The end takes you to the Lava’s end at the Pacific Ocean. Spectacular! And, for us, the best part of the tour!

This was a pretty cool tour for the most part. It tracked which audio to play through the GPS and shared all kinds of stories about the history of the volcanoes. The only sore part of the trip was when the guide recommended a 20-minute hike to see some old Hawaiian pictographs and did not say it was for experienced hikers only. We ended up doing a very dangerous climb over steep rocks in heavy winds that was not at all worth it to see a few old carvings.
