This was an amazing experience. We had up to 17 manta rays, with wingspans up to 12’, swimming and circling and gliding literally within inches of us for the full ~ 30 minutes we were in the water. Words cannot describe how cool this was. Buddha and Chris were both amazing guides and very helpful and courteous. Felt completely safe and well taken care of the whole time. Would recommend 110%.

Trip was amazing! Great boat ride out in the dark, love the zodiac boats. Guides were great - they were very knowledgeable and made sure everyone was safe and comfortable. Saw 17 manta rays, a lot of them swimming inches from our faces. Highly recommend this specific tour group

Despite the fact that there were many non-swimmers and/or weak swimmers (how does that happen on a snorkel trip?), it did not detract from the awesome experience we had. The manta rays came within inches of us. There were over 10 of them swimming loops right underneath us. Some of them were huge. They were so close and plentiful you really had to try hard not to touch them or bump into them. The water was cool at night and in early September so don't listen to them when they suggest that you don't need the wetsuit. It is not a full wetsuit. I was cold but did not want to get out of the water so as to not miss anything. You are also cold because you are not moving and kicking and just floating so you don't accidentally kick the manta rays. The ride out there was fast and at times bumpy. The experience was amazing. One of the tour leaders was kind enough to take pictures and video on her GoPro and shared it with us at the end of the trip. The videos were amazing and we couldn't wait to share it with family and friends. They didn't do a roll call upon leaving our snorkeling spot nor did I see any crew member do a head count so as long as you go with a buddy, you should be safe and not likely to be left behind.

Mahalo for the wonderful review! Yes, it is a snorkeling tour and we understand there are so many that want to partake in this amazing experience so we try not to discriminate against not-good swimmers but rather be prepared in the case. I know you dont see it but the captain is the main one watching and keeping rollcall of how many in the water, if any came bac early etc. All customers are also hanging onto a board managed by the guides and in which the guides brings back the board to the boat. Safety is our main concern for sure.
