The lights to attract the mantas this tour used were cheap and mantas did not come up to our boat. We spent several hours floating and saw a manta for about 20 seconds and this was enough for the tour to justify not giving us another opportunity to float. The guides were really nice and accommodating though.

Yikes, those lights cost $1,500.00 The manta snorkel is a 2hr event.....so floating for several hours doesn't seem correct. Sorry the mantas are wild creatures and for the most of the time they provide an excellent show ❤

This was an incredible experience! Saw multiple manta rays swimming within inches of us. Our crew was absolutely awesome. We had an anxious teenager who mostly stayed on the boat and an older person who needed some help getting back to the boat, and they couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. The captain's adorable puppy, Kuma, made it even more memorable. It does get cold in the water, even with the wetsuit, but totally worth it!

So glad you joined us! I was actually on the boat with your family that night. I could tell your teenage girl was really out of her comfort zone but she really was brave😊. Oh yes Kumas first night on the manta boat 😂

Terrific life experience! You receive directions on where to meet a day before the event. Wearing a wetsuit is optional, but I do recommend it as the water feels cooler in night air and it provides buoyancy. The manta rays come right at you and flip away at the last second. The staff took photos and videos underwater and provided them for free to the guests so don’t worry about taking underwater cameras. This is a must see on the island!
