What To Expect

Royal Gorge Zip Line Tours

This is a definite family favorite and is suitable for children ages 6 and up. This section of river is the perfect place for your first rafting experience and for experienced paddlers alike. On The Bighorn Canyon you will encounter exciting rapids such as Wake Up, 3 Rocks, Spikebuck, Sharks Tooth and many more. You will also encounter tranquil and calm stretches of river in between rapids. Enjoy the magnificent scenery while watching for many of the Bighorn Sheep that make this canyon home.

Best adventure of our trip!!! We had never done white water rafting before and when we first arrived we were a bit worried that we might be in over our heads. My husband and I are in our 60’s and it was obvious that we were the only senior folks in the group. Fortunately everyone at the site was super helpful and we had plenty of time on the bus ride for the guide to put our minds at ease as he discussed all the instructions to have a safe/fun trip. We had a great raft “team” and our guide Tim was awesome!!! Thanks Tim for making our first rafting experience an amazing memory. WE WILL BE BACK!!!

What a great time on our first whitewater rafting trip. Our guide Kyle did a great job coaching us along the river. I was a little hesitant with taking our two grandsons who are 9 & 11. I am not a great swimmer and was afraid of falling out of the boat. He did a great job of making us feel safe while having so much fun. I would highly recommend it.
