We enjoyed a long weekend in Pittsburgh, and the highlight was this very fun tour from Bike the Burgh. Our guide was a retired school teacher and administrator named Harry, and he was knowledgeable and fun to spend the day with. We learned some new things about the city, got a little exercise, and enjoyed our group of fellow travelers. I hope to do another tour with Bike the Burgh next time we are in town. Many thanks Harry and Dave for a great Saturday!

Very disappointing. Tour guide went fast and left stragglers behind. Cars would pull out in front of you because your not on bike lanes. Tour guide talked longer then 10 minutes. Didn't realize Pittsburgh has inclines and you need to be able to ride your bike on inclines, it is not flat at all. This is not for beginners, you need to be in shape and able to ride your bike up and down inclines in the city. Wanted to see the main attractions more since were not from there but we didn't.

Hello Kim, thanks so much for trusting our services and joining one of our bike tours. Also thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We always appreciate feedback. I am very sorry to hear that our tours did not meet your expectation. I would like to sincerely apologize for that! But please allow me to clarify a few things here: a. Our tour guides certainly do their best to keep the group together and to adjust to the slowest rider. A basic riding skill and fitness level is necessary to attend a city bike tour. It is up to you to assess your capabilities. b. Our tours are advertised as architectural and historical tours, so certain tour stops - not all of them - are naturally a bit longer as we look at architecture and learn about the rich history of Pittsburgh. c. The 3-hour ride is through Downtown and takes place along the riverfront trails which are definitely flat. Two ramps onto bridges are the "inclines" that you talk about. d. You didn't get to see all the main attractions because you dropped out after one third of the tour. Another staff member and also guide offered you to help catch up with the group after taking a break and/or go over information and sights that you missed. But you declined. As mentioned in my direct email to you, we would like to make up for your experience with 3 FREE walking tour tickets next time you will be in town. So please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We would like to make you happy next time! :-)

We went on the "Beauty of the Burgh" tour and it was very impressive! Guide was very knowledgeable, so we learned a lot about Pittsburgh history and architectural history in the city. Highly recommend if you're looking for something to do in Pittsburgh, or if you love architecture!
