Our family enjoyed the Summer Solstice by taking the Bioluminescence Night Kayaking Tour. Our guides, Jared & Bruin did an amazing job educating everyone on safety, the river and the wildlife we might encounter on our quest and ensured everyone had a great time enjoying the comb jellies to the fullest. They even caught comb jellies and offered others the opportunity to hold them if they had difficulty catching them on their own. I know this made the experience that much more exciting for everyone, as you could hear all of the oohs and aahs and squeals of delight! I highly recommend the tour as a must-see/do in the Cocoa Beach area!

We opted for the bioluminescence raft tour. Not only was it cheaper than the kayaks, but more relaxed and leisurely. Our guides were Dan and Rachel. They had plenty of knowledge of the river and it’s wildlife and were happy to answer all our questions. Most importantly they made my wife, who is a non-swimmer and has a fear of water, very relaxed and reassured. Despite the bright moonlight they found a great dark bay which allowed us to see both the bioluminescent plankton and catch dozens of Comb Jellies. The kids and adults had a great time. We coupled our night rafting with a visit to Kennedy Space Center and Coco Beech.

It's adventurous without being strained. As the water is very warm, it is very enjoyable. the kayaking part is not difficult. The guide and her assistants are very considerate and encouraging but also keep us in check. We (myself, hubby and two grown up children and ones boyfriend) joined the 14th June 9:00 pm tour) we had a great time, and good experience.
