My sister and I booked this trip and loved it. Our guides were Katie and Bailey who were both great. It was just about the right length trip and offered kayaking both in the mangroves and Haulover canal itself. We saw some bioluminescence which was amazing. I would highly recommend it.

We did two tours on the same day....sunset tour and bioluminescence tour. Both trips were a lot of fun. Ram/Bailey/K were a great tour guides - very informative and engaging. The sunset tour was awesome. Could not have picked a better sunset....clear skies and nice temps. We saw several creatures....manatees, dolphin, turtle and numerous birds on bird island. Departed at 6:30pm and returned at 8pm. We had a 30 min break and then departed on the bio tour. Although we didn't see a lot of the biolumenescence, the tour was still a lot of fun. Kayaking in the darkness under the clear skies was really neat and we were able to see many stars. Definitely a worth-while adventure and highly recommend. Ram and the team did an outstanding job.

This bioluminesence is on my bucket list. And after our trip with BK it still is! We didnt see ANY bioluminesence. Why market bioluminesence when you know damn well theres none in the water? This company is raking in the dough from unexpecting tourists like me. Dont be fooled. Peek bioluminesence is July-Sept (after doing my research) And the canal they take you through has the busiest drawbridge in America. Completely unsafe in my book. I did not feel comfortable until we hit the backwaters. And then we didn't see anything. Way too many kayakers for one guide to safely manage as well. Totally bummed.

(Note to public: this is likely a review from an ex-employee or competitor. We have reported it to TripAdvisor) From March 10 - 19, all our trip logs and guides have reported seeing bright bioluminescence - both Comb Jellies and plankton. Also, we clearly state on our website what to expect during the different months of bioluminescence seasons. It appears you may be reporting on a tour of a competitor or something we are unfamiliar with, because we also had no night tours in the week preceding March 19th that had only 1 guide. They all had 2-3 guides as it is spring break, high season and we have been quite busy. Please do call our office so we can verify which tour you were on and make arrangements for you to do this again during the high season (if you prefer the plankton bioluminescence to comb jellies). 407-519-8711 You can also email at [email protected] This review is not accurate according to our trip logs, our guide schedule, or other reviews guests from the same time period. It would be too bad if people did not come out to see the bioluminescence based on this misinformation. We have very complete information on our website, and we are happy to give wildlife updates to anyone who phones our office.
