Bioluminescent Clear Kayak Tours in Titusville

Overview

CLEAR KAYAKS! We'll get you checked in right when you arrive to allow for the most possible time on the water! Once you're all checked in, we'll give some basic paddle instructions and information about the tour ahead. The paddle will last about an hour and a half depending on the speed of our group and any wildlife we may see along the way. Bioluminescence is the emission of light by a living organism. When the organisms move in the water they create a beautiful glowing effect. This means that you can see fish underwater by the glow that they give off as they swim, your paddle will glow as you maneuver the waterways, and the natural flow of water will illuminate these organisms. The great thing about paddling in our clear kayaks is that you can also see the glowing directly below you! Paddling in a clear kayak will enhance your bioluminescence viewing experience by a long shot!

The experience was amazing, unlike anything you can do really. It feels like you are gliding over a galaxy or a giant pool of glitter. I am not being paid to write this review but will say with confidence you cannot have the same experience with a kayak that’s not clear! You’ll see the bioluminescence as you touch the water etc the light spectacle underneath the kayak that you can only see with a clear one is unmatched! The water was super calm and my husband was able to paddle alone and I just enjoyed the scenery. We saw so much wildlife including dolphins and our tour guide were super kind and informed about the animals and the bioluminescence (Liz and her husband whose name I now forget!) I want to make this a yearly trip! Last important tip, bring a lot of bug spray!

This was absolutely AMAZING!! We had dolphins jumping right in front of us, seeing them in the blue bioluminescence was beautiful! The sky was amazing as well. Definitely doing this again!!!!

My family and I booked the Bioluminescent Tour based on when the moon would be the least full during our stay and WOW what an amazing experience! First of all the guides who were a married couple Liz and Scott were GREAT!! The group was small(only 9 people and we were 5 of the 9). The trip left at 9pm and despite it being a rainy day it cleared just in time for our trip. The water literally flows as you paddle and since the kayaks are clear as you go through the water you sparkle. It is an amazing experience that is hard to describe! The great surprise was how many dolphins we saw up close during our trip. Literally had two dolphins swim under our kayaks and close enough to touch. The guides also spotted an alligator in the distance and showed us how their eyes glow at night. The trip did require paddling during a large portion of the trip which wasn’t very difficult but worth noting if you don’t want to kayak for an extended period of time. I cannot say enough about how amazing this experience was and how Liz and Scott made it feel special! A definite must do!!
