Bioluminescent Clear Kayak Tours in Titusville

Overview

CLEAR KAYAKS! We'll get you checked in right when you arrive to allow for the most possible time on the water! Once you're all checked in, we'll give some basic paddle instructions and information about the tour ahead. The paddle will last about an hour and a half depending on the speed of our group and any wildlife we may see along the way. Bioluminescence is the emission of light by a living organism. When the organisms move in the water they create a beautiful glowing effect. This means that you can see fish underwater by the glow that they give off as they swim, your paddle will glow as you maneuver the waterways, and the natural flow of water will illuminate these organisms. The great thing about paddling in our clear kayaks is that you can also see the glowing directly below you! Paddling in a clear kayak will enhance your bioluminescence viewing experience by a long shot!

Our family enjoyed the bioluminescent tour! The company did an excellent job! The weather was a bit windy so the moved our tour to a different location, 5 minutes away to ensure our safety. Someone called & carefully gave us directions to the new launch site where we would have a better experience. Scott & Liz did an excellent job explaining about many of the species that live in the refuge. My 14 & 11year olds liked hearing about the manatees, drum fish and of course the bioluminescent dinoflagellates. We would love to come back and take another tour with them. We kayak at home but kayaking in a clear kayak at night with bioluminescence under the boat was amazing!

An adventure with nature that cannot be described!! My entire family loved it—glowing waters, dolphins and manatees. The clear kayaks added to the experience. So just do it!!

We LOVED our bioluminescent kayak tour! Liz and Scott were awesome guides who taught us a lot about the ecosystem and, of course, bioluminescence. What an amazing phenomenon! It was so cool to interact with the bioluminescence! We’ll definitely be back again - can’t wait to see how it changes throughout the season. The clear kayaks made a huge difference - it was like watching the galaxy pass under your boat! We loved kayaking right next to the dolphins, too! Loved that your tours were small groups. Amazing experience, highly recommended!!
