Bioluminescent Clear Kayak Tours in Titusville

Overview
CLEAR KAYAKS! We'll get you checked in right when you arrive to allow for the most possible time on the water! Once you're all checked in, we'll give some basic paddle instructions and information about the tour ahead. The paddle will last about an hour and a half depending on the speed of our group and any wildlife we may see along the way. Bioluminescence is the emission of light by a living organism. When the organisms move in the water they create a beautiful glowing effect. This means that you can see fish underwater by the glow that they give off as they swim, your paddle will glow as you maneuver the waterways, and the natural flow of water will illuminate these organisms. The great thing about paddling in our clear kayaks is that you can also see the glowing directly below you! Paddling in a clear kayak will enhance your bioluminescence viewing experience by a long shot!

This was my first time doing this tour. Clear kayaks are everything 😍 our tour guide was awesome and end of the tour fish show was unbelievable! Mother nature is something else. Note: nothing helps with mosquitoes lol, but this experience was totally worth it!!! I’m looking forward to do it again!

Can't say enough about this tour. Austin and Jacob were great guides, provided lots of info. We saw dolphins, osprey and heron, (thanks to Austin's flashlight), bait fish and mullett, (almost jumping in the kyak), heard manatees but didn't see them. Just running your hands in the water to see the iridescent glow is astounding and when the water drips off your fingers it looks like tiny twinkling stars. The darker the night the better, seeing what looks like a galaxy of stars under your clear kayak, as you paddle, really knocked my socks off (even though I was barefoot, LOL) and made me feel like I was in the movie Avatar. Some in our group stood up in their kayaks and said the view was even more amazing (I was too nervous to try). Any movement in the water causes the glow so all the little fish swimming around you lights up the area. This definitely makes the clear kayak the way to go. Seriously, you have to see this for yourself and to film it would require a long exposure camera. Tips - pick the darkest night for the best vision of the glowing phenomenom (checkout their website's moon chart) - bring STRONG bug spray - turn dome lights and head lights off in your car as mosquitoes attack instantly - wear long sleeves and pants - bring flashlight and glow necklace - change of clothes (you'll be wet and smelly from bug spray) - bring wipes or lysol to disinfect your paddle and life jacket - don't forget to tip the guides! They deserve it for working such long/late labor intensive hours!

Thanks for the GLOWING review ;) We're so glad you had awesome time with Austin and Jacob! The bio truly is amazing and being able to experience it in our clear kayaks is top notch. Sounds like you saw some awesome wildlife out there, which is always a win in our book. We definitely suggest bringing deet-free bug spray to ensure the clarity for your bio viewing is the best! You can also bring your own lifejacket if you feel more comfortable, but our team is cleaning and sanitizing all equipment before and after our tours!! We can't thank you enough for sharing your experience on our bioluminescent tour!! Hope to paddle with you again in the future!
