Bioluminescent Clear Kayak Tours in Titusville

Overview

CLEAR KAYAKS! We'll get you checked in right when you arrive to allow for the most possible time on the water! Once you're all checked in, we'll give some basic paddle instructions and information about the tour ahead. The paddle will last about an hour and a half depending on the speed of our group and any wildlife we may see along the way. Bioluminescence is the emission of light by a living organism. When the organisms move in the water they create a beautiful glowing effect. This means that you can see fish underwater by the glow that they give off as they swim, your paddle will glow as you maneuver the waterways, and the natural flow of water will illuminate these organisms. The great thing about paddling in our clear kayaks is that you can also see the glowing directly below you! Paddling in a clear kayak will enhance your bioluminescence viewing experience by a long shot!

We had six in our group. Everyone had a great time even the one who was reluctant to go. Her kayak woke a sleeping manatee, what a splash. Daniel and Matt were excellent guides, very friendly and knowledgeable. We plan to go again. Liked the small group, had done this with another company and there were 24 people and we could not hear the guides. Definitely a must do even if you do not kayak. Was beautiful. Great company.

Our group went out with Zach and Evelyn and had the best experience! If you are like us, slightly nervous about kayaking in the dark with wildlife, don’t skip out. We all felt so comfortable and at ease with our guides once arriving and also out on the water. They had clear instructions throughout our tour, kept it fun, and were knowledgeable. They provide glow sticks, an emergency whistle and flashlight attached to your lifevest, and even a little net to scoop up sealife they explained about. I can’t rave enough about how magical an experience this was. It really is a bucket list sort of venture. From the glowing water to a dolphin breaching a foot from me. The clear kayaks made everything even better. We saw numerous dolphins, two manatees, schools of jumping fish, and gators on the shore (noted they are minding their own business as we all minded ours a good distance away). The tour consisted of all ages and experience in kayaking it seemed, and the guides were patient, kind, and positive throughout. We had no trouble getting there with the detailed directions get up and go provided, and they even check in on your gps navigation beforehand. 10/10 ⭐️ Tip - take get up and gos advice on wearing long sleeves and pants. I used deet free bug spray under my clothes and then over and I cannot believe I came out of there without one mosquito bite. I’m not sure folks wearing shorts and tank tops would be quite so lucky.

This is one of those experiences that is so amazing that you don't want to tell too many people so it doesn't become tourist central. Highly suggest bug spray and a change of dry clothes for after, just in case!
