This tour is one of the best things to do in Lexington. Erin's passion for the city's history, art, and culinary culture shine through on her tours. I have lived here for over ten years and learned so much on her tour. Tours are paced wonderfully where you are never too full at once, so each stop is enjoyable.

This was, without a doubt, the best tour I’ve ever experienced! Erin’s incredible depth of knowledge, engaging storytelling, and passion for history made every moment unforgettable. Bites of the Bluegrass gave a FABULOUS tour! 20 of us in a private tour visited 4 downtown eateries and were happy and content at the end. Owner/operator Erin Goins was a virtual warehouse of information on women's history of Lexington, and all four of the professional historians on the tour praised her content and delivery! Everyone to a person told me afterwards that they had a blast! I had heard that Bites of the Bluegrass tours were terrific so I contacted owner/operator Erin Goins about organizing a private tour for my birthday, to focus on women's history in Lexington. I told her there would be at least 4 professional historians in the group (most of us are U.K. professors) but she was undaunted. She lived up to her reputation. The tour went off without a hitch, Erin is a glamorous and savvy guide, and I highly recommend Bites of the Bluegrass both for tourists and locals! Thank you, Erin. You MADE my birthday!
