from booking to end of trip debriefing this was a smooth adventure. All the staff went above and beyond to help. Big shout to our guide Gianni who has the knowledge of a wise sage, the skill of Bear Grills, and the charismatic mischievous energy of someone half his age. Thanks to Luke and Neil for our transport and great conversation. So nice to have frozen Otter Pops waiting at Willow Beach after a hot day. I can tell everyone loves their jobs. They even gave us extra tips for other outdoor adventures in the area.

This was a fantastic excursion for our family. Our guide, Anthony, was so knowledgable and helpful! He took us to some beautiful areas along the river. The lunch provided was great and kept our energy up! At the end of 12 miles we were tired but extremely satisfied with what we accomplished!

WE booked a day trip in early July. The weather was hot, but the walls of the canyon kept it from baking us. The 12 mile trip was a challenge due to the high winds in our faces throughout the paddle. We are all in our 60's and made the trip in 7 hours, so do not be afraid--- just be ready to work a little. Our guide Neil was a great guy who got us started and picked us up on time. I would highly recommend Desert Kayak.
