I’ve taken a few of these in other cities and I liked that this one was more research based than just lore. As much history as ghosts - and I like both so thank you!

10/10 would recommend!! The tour was so much fun and our tour guide Christina (hopefully we remembered her name correctly, it’s been a few days since the tour) was amazing! Very knowledgeable and funny and entertaining! It was more history than spooky at times but still highly recommend!

My wife and I go on a ghost tour in just about every city we visit. This tour was good but not great. Our guide was very pleasant and informative, but I left wanting a bit more. I like some context or specific back story behind the individuals involved in the ghost stories. Most of the stories did not involve an explanation as to why there may be sightings at the location. (was someone murdered there, etc.) I don’t blame our guide for that, it may just be that Pittsburgh is not as haunted as some of the southern cities we’ve visited. However, I will say, as the tour went on, the stories got better! All in all, I would recommend doing this tour to get a good feel for the downtown area, but keep your expectations low regarding the stories that are told.

Hello there, thank you so much for joining our Ghost Tour, and for taking the time to leave a review! We appreciate that very much. - We try really hard to give as much of historic background to ghost sightings (like the railroad riots at the former railroad station), but obviously not all of them can be traced back in an accurate manner. Besides that, as you have already pointed out, Pittsburgh ghosts can certainly not be compared to spirits in the South, like e.g. in Charleston, Savannah, or New Orleans. There are simply overall fewer ghosts in the Burgh, but they make up for it with their industriousness (unlike their lazy counterparts) :-)) - Thanks again for giving our ghosts a try!
