We took the Summer Mountain Summit Tour with Colorado Sightseer to avoid the drive up the narrow and scary (to wife and sister) roads to Mount Evans, choosing to let the tour operator take care of these duties. I will have to say this was a great idea for a number of reasons. It allowed for a enjoyable tour to take pictures, absorb all the local information provided by our wonderful tour guide (Christin, the owner), and lastly not be yelled at by the wife and SIL to slow down.....LOL. Plenty of stops for bathroom breaks and picture opportunities. While we got to see everything as stated in the itinerary, it was shifted around due to the changing weather conditions. It did cut short some of our time at somes stops, while lengthening the time at others. No complaint about that, but be prepared for this as weather is a inconsistant companion around Colorado and has to be considered. For those who read the older reviews, keep in mind that ownership of this business has changed recently for the better. I think the new owners have done a fabulous job changing the way tours are conducted to the benefit of the customers. Keep up the good work! BTW, kudos to Christin for great picture taking! She knows how to handle a camera to frame you and the scenery right!
