Boat Ride in 10,000 Islands + Biologist Led Walk in the Everglades Small Group

Overview
Wild Lime Adventures will take you beyond all the other boat trips out there so we can witness the vast array of bird species, including the roseate spoonbill, white pelican, and shorebirds on remote beaches. Get off on a remote island to explore while listening to the fascinating lore of the Old Everglades from your multi-generational captain guide. This is your chance to possibly see dolphins jumping out of the water, manatees, critically endangered sawtooth fish, and more!

All of our guides at are trained biologists and we will take you on an immersive dry walk along a linear strand in the Fakahatchee, often referred to as the "Amazon of North America."
We only experience animals in the wild! No animals in pens/cages. There are many choices of tours out there but we are one of only a select few that actually holds a PERMIT to lead tours in the National Park. We are also SEE eco-certified.

Marco Island
After pick up at your location we will drive East and soon enter the wild areas of the Wesgtern Everglades

Naples
We pick up at many of the hotels in the Naples area.

Fakahatchee Strand Preserve State Park
This special area is considered to the "Rainforest of North America" and the Orchid capital of the world. Your naturalist guide will describe all of the local flora and fauna. This area also has the greatest concentration of the Florida Panther! Keep a watchful eye out for alligators, black bears, bobcats and other amazing wildlife.

Smallwood Store
Visit this unique trading post which is on the National Regsitry of Historic Places. Travel back in time as you see items from a long ago era.

Everglades National Park
You will enjoy an hour boat trip through the mysterious maze of the 10,000 mangrove islands part of Everglades National Park. Your guide will identify the variety of birds and other animals. Keep a watchful eye out for wild dolphins and mantaees. Learn the fascinating history of the people who have lived in this regions for thousands of years.

Big Cypress Bend Boardwalk
This is a perfect place to spot some iconic Florida wildlife such as alligators, black bears, turtles, snakes and more!

Port of the Islands Marina
On our way back to drop you off, our guides will stop and look for Florida's famous manatees. Our guides know how to find them! Everyone loves observing these docile animals in their natual habitat!

Everglades City
We will visit a small museum and take a driving out of this quaint community recently named by Smithsonian magazine as "top 10 places to visit in the United Staes". When in season, we will be able to stsop for stone crabs to be able to purchase fresh. This is the stone crab capital of the world!
