Bonaventure Cemetery

Complete tour of the cemetery, mostly by walking tour, but we drive through the rest on the way in and way out. Its over 100 acres, but we concentrate our walking tour on the historic section. All for about the price of what the other tours charge to "meet you out there.

Great trip to Bonaventure. Our guide has so much knowledge regarding not in the cemetery but local Savannah history. What’s great is that the tour is partially in the van and walking around the oldest part of the cemetery. It is a large area to walk on foot the whole time. Picked us at the hotel at the exact time he stated and dropped us off at the location of our choice in the HD. Highly recommend.

This tour was everything I could have asked for in a cemetery tour! Tim was very friendly and personable, with a ton of knowledge about Savannah and a clear love of researching the city’s history. BUT ALSO, during the tour one of the guests proposed to his girlfriend! It was so sweet and romantic. 🥰Any tour from now on that does not include a proposal will pale in comparison. Wonderful experience! The 2 hours will fly by and it’s worth every penny. Thank you, Tim!

I can’t recommend this tour enough. For starters, it’s really a bargain with the free transportation included. All the contact occurred exactly as stated in the tour info. Tim said he was a 6th-generation Savannahian and he was also a history major, so his knowledge was vast, not only about the cemetery but also about the city. He was so personable and funny and is clearly passionate about what he does. We take guided tours everywhere we go and I can honestly say this was one of the best. You will not be disappointed!
