The plantation, main house and slave houses were a real gem and quite historic. My daughter also liked the connection to the Notebook movie.

Lovely half day trip to Boone Hall Plantation. Sean was our driver and he was great - he gave us some information about Charleston and the plantation on the way, was a safe driver and on time there and back. Boone Hall itself was self-guided overall except for the main house. Nice relaxed day wandering around in the peaceful surroundings. I felt the tour was a little overpriced for what it was, but I enjoyed it none-the-less.
