It was beautiful! A little disappointed that we could only go into a couple of rooms in the main house. Grounds were beautiful. The Gullah presentation was very interesting, and the peach ice cream was fantastic! Cons: It was pretty expensive ($126/couple) in light of the fact that, had we known, the entry tickets were only $26. We would have driven ourselves, but our tour driver, Kathy, was very informative.

Our driver was Cathy. Easy meeting spot. Suggest to arrive early. They leave on time. If you have a car it’s just as easy to drive to the plantation and costs less. But the ride was nice, Cathy gave us lots of information. The plantation was nice, you only see 3 rooms of the house. The grounds are nice. The tractor ride around the property was great. The Gullah theatre was amazing. So much culture. The slave quarters were sad but interesting.

The transportation and tour were great. Just enough time to make sure you saw everything. Easy meeting spot out of Charleston.
