I loved the Gullah presentation. I learned so much about plantation life as a slave. The presenter not only shared the history of a plantation slave, but also told the story with gospel songs and why these songs were important to the slave story. Fascinating! We were disappointed in the mansion tour because it was supposed to be a small group and our guide allowed about 40 people into the tour. Too crowded in the small rooms and not enough time to look at the antiques in each. It is understandably difficult to speak with a mask on, but our guide did not make sure that he spoke loudly and clearly and only faced one side of the room. Consequently those standing behind him missed out.

Didnt realize it wasn’t authentic plantation from 1800s, only first floor was able to be viewed, tour operator didnt know updated rules, three hours not enough time to explore grounds.
