This is our third trip, bringing visiting family the last two times. It's always great. I always want our family to experience the wonderful Gullah story!! Our Gullah lady is amazing and the highlight always!! The big house is a nice stop. We wished the Butterfly Cafe was a little more extensive, with seating and more food choices. But, it won't stop us from returning with more fam and friends!

This was an unexpected delight. We had a short ride over to Mt Pleasant and onto the plantation. Along the way our driver/tour guide Wayne, illustrated points and gave us bits of history. Once on the plantation you have time see the home, farm, slave quarters and grounds. It was very informative and gave us great insight into the local history. worth seeing.

The Boone Hall trip is well worth taking! We found our tour guide, Wayne, very knowledgeable, friendly, and entertaining on the trip out the plantation. Our only complaint is that we didn't need a full four-and-a-half hours. The trip was about an hour longer than we needed it to be.
