Step aboard the trolley of the doomed and join your host, a 17th-century grave digger, cursed with a sentence of eternal damnation. This wretched creature is doomed to travel the streets of Boston and relay the stories of the unfortunate souls he encountered and the macabre events he had been witness to during his purgatory. Hear about Boston's most sinister characters - from the Angel of Death to the king of all killers - the Boston Strangler. Learn about all the haunts that call the "Hub" their home. But that's not all! Step inside two of the oldest burying grounds in Boston for a walking tour you will never forget. Learn the significance of much of the imagery found in these 17th century burial grounds and the famous and not so famous (but even more interesting) occupants therein. Visit Copp's Hill Burying Ground in the North End, nestled atop the tallest point in one of Boston's oldest historic districts. Here you will visit the final resting place of Cotton Mather, a man famous for his "intimate" involvement with the Salem Witch Trials. Then to the Granary Burying Ground where you will visit the final resting places of many of the famous heroes of the American Revolution including John Hancock, Paul Revere and Samuel Adams. Remember that half of the tour is walking, so comfortable shoes are recommended (so you don't become "dead" on your feet)!

Our tour guide was amazing!! I can’t remember her name at the moment, I think it was Betsy?? From the start of the tour until the end, her story telling was funny, dark, and creep-tastic!! I would hands down recommend this tour!! Wear comfortable shoes because you do get on and off the trolley several times but only for about 20 mins at a time.

Above and beyond expectations! My family and I HIGHLY suggest a Ghosts and Gravestone nighttime tour. My mom - who cannot walk - was treated with the utmost respect and care by the staff. We were allowed to board the trolley first and all sit together around her. The staff offered to take the time to help her on and off of the trolley at each graveyard stop as well, regardless of the time it would take each time. For the less-handicap accessible graveyard, they had another staff member come to share stories with my mom on the trolley while everyone else walked around. Anthraxicon the Death Bringer was BY-FAR the best tour guide! He was engaging, funny, and attentive to everyone's needs. There were two people on board (intoxicated heavily) who he professionally and discreetly took care of without ruining the experience for everyone else. Even offered extra stories and an additional tour to everyone due to the disruption. Summary: My family and I suggest this tour for any family/friends looking for a fun time! Don't take things too seriously too - this isn't a historic museum tour. Relax and have a great time with it.

This tour was so-so. Our first tour guide was pretty informative and personable but the second portion of our tour was led by this girl who would not stop screeching! and I really had a problem when she took us into this amazing old cemetery where she kept cursing and making inappropriate jokes . Plus, she didn't seem to know her stuff the way the first guy did. you have a 50/50 chance of enjoying this tour.
