The Cathedral Church of Saint Paul
This historic church has been a site of worship since the early 1800s, but it's also known for its spectral visitors. Mysterious sounds and shadowy figures have been reported, with some believing the spirits of former parishioners remain, drawn back to the church in death.
3
Massachusetts State House
Overlooking Boston Common, the Massachusetts State House has a haunted reputation tied to its Revolutionary War history. Some say the spirits of soldiers and politicians roam the halls, with ghostly footsteps and unexplained cold spots felt by those who work late into the night.
4
Boston Athenaeum
This historic library is home to more than just rare books. Visitors have reported seeing ghostly figures among the stacks and feeling an unshakable sense of being watched, particularly near the portrait of George Washington, which is rumored to be haunted by a former librarian.

I live in Boston but my family has never seen the city before. The kids didn't want to do something "boring" so I decided to take them on this tour. I was surprised they actually liked it! It was a nice mix of spooky meets history class but not in a boring way! It was so much fun!

I tried to reach out to the company in advance and did not get an answer after a few days so I decided to book anyway the day of. About an hour before the tour, the guide called and canceled and then later someone else called me and said they were issuing a refund and wanted to offer me a free tour for the inconvenience if I ever came back which I thought was a nice gesture. However, when they refunded me the money, they refunded all but a few dollars. When I reached out again to the company about not receiving a full refund/ how would I go about scheduling the free tour if I was back in the area, I was never contacted. Landed up calling my credit card company to get the difference back.

Tour was cancelled sane day I arrived in town. All I was told was to contact Viator for refund. I have not found a way. I’m out 75 bucks, and a waste trip to Boston. Maybe there is a reason there are so few reviews.... Will tell everyone to stay away.
