2
The Cathedral Church of Saint Paul
This historic church has been a site of worship since the early 1800s, but it's also known for its spectral visitors. Mysterious sounds and shadowy figures have been reported, with some believing the spirits of former parishioners remain, drawn back to the church in death.
3
Massachusetts State House
Overlooking Boston Common, the Massachusetts State House has a haunted reputation tied to its Revolutionary War history. Some say the spirits of soldiers and politicians roam the halls, with ghostly footsteps and unexplained cold spots felt by those who work late into the night.
4
Boston Athenaeum
This historic library is home to more than just rare books. Visitors have reported seeing ghostly figures among the stacks and feeling an unshakable sense of being watched, particularly near the portrait of George Washington, which is rumored to be haunted by a former librarian.
5
John Adams Courthouse
The John Adams Courthouse, steeped in legal history, is rumored to be haunted by the spirits of those who faced justice within its walls. Echoes of past trials and ghostly apparitions have been reported, with some visitors feeling an eerie presence in the courtrooms.

Rachel did a really good job with leading our tour. Truly enjoyed it! She was clearly passionate about the history of Boston and chose some fun stories to share with us.

We booked a tour for Sunday, May 5. It was my husband, my teenager and myself. We had never done a ghost tour and we thought it would be fun. We arrived at the designated area at the time they specified. Our guide was late showing up. We watched him come up from the subway. We opted for the extended tour of 30 minutes and we got the EMF readers. We were very surprised to be the only people in the tour. there were other tours going on around us and they were packed. That probably should’ve been our first clue. The guide never showed us how to use the EMF readers and the tour is more history tour than a ghost tour. Not only that but we never got the extended 30 minutes that we paid for. I spoke with the company but never received a refund for that. I was very disappointed in the lack of communication, professionalism and organization of this particular tour. I personally would not recommend it. The sad part is I did a lot of research on tour companies.

We had a great tour guide. Her name is Noel , what a sweetheart! She was very knowledgeable of the city history and the surroundings. She answered everybody’s questions. I would definitely recommend this tour for anyone wanting to know more about Boston.
