Be warned if you are tall you may stuggle to sit in the seats,one of our party is 6'2" and could only sit on the rear seats as they had a little more room. Informative andentertaining tour guides.

We enjoyed our Hop on Hop Off Tour of Boston. We've been to Boston about a dozen times, but never took a tour. We got a good deal on a Groupon for this tour, so we went with it this time around. Given that "hop on, hop off" was the "feature", we had several different drivers/tour guides who varied over the course of the day. Each was decent to very good. I would have liked for the route to have gone further out from the main attractions, but it was good value for the money and an excellent introduction for anyone who was new to the city.

This tour turned into a 2 hour wait and then 2 hour ride on a trolley. After getting out tickets, we waited for over an hour and 45 minutes for a trolley to come by that was not packed! Once we boarded the trolley we became instantly afraid of getting off at any of the stops as there were always at least 20 people trying to get on the trolley to continue their tour. We "saw" Boston. Tour assistants apologized for the lack of active trolleys which caused the long delays, but the tour operators obviously did schedule effectively!
