One of the best ways to see and get a feel for Boston is hopping on one of these Cityview hop-on hop-off narrated trolley tours. You can get a lot of good information about the city, attractions, places to visit, and eat while in town. Anytime I am visiting a city for the first time and short on time I like to take these types of tours. Great way to get a beat on the local area.

So I debated whether to award either 3 stars or 4 stars and opted for 3 as I felt that we were treated too much like school children and not fee paying customers (by our driver). That said we booked via Groupon and it was excellent value for money. The staff on the booths and allocating us to trolleys are a true asset to the company. Very polite and efficient. Our driver was clearly knowledgeable but insisted on silence and his previous teacher traits were clear. What was slightly amusing at the start ended up very irritating hence the reduced feedback score. Would I recommend? Yes definitely. Good value (especially with the Groupon) and an informative and interesting tour of Boston.
