We opted for the hop-on/hop-off trolley, only, to fill the end of our day in Boston. The trolley provided an overview of Boston's top sites - a plus if it's your first time in Boston as it was for 2 in our group. We rode the entire route and then again to get off where we decided we wanted to explore more. Get an earlier start - we were on the last trolleys so once we got off, we walked back to our car since the trolleys were no longer running. Our driver was a bit crass with jokes over the heads of the younger crowd. You either like it, don't like it, or ignore it. We didn't mind.

Great tour, the driver was knowledgeable of all the historical facts! I wished we had arrived early because we didn’t have time to go and explore the sites because they closed at 3:30 pm. The whole tour takes about and hour and you could get off in different points of the tour. However we took the tour at 2:00 pm and we were told until the end that they close at 3:30. Other than that was good!

There's a couple of hop on hop of tours in Boston. This one spends the most amount of time taking you around the city and less time sitting in the trolley waiting for guests. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They suggested a later harbor cruise for us for the sunset and they were right. We enjoyed it and loved the Boston accents of the tour guides. Tip: Be sure to bring cash (ones) to tip them. It's customary and I felt like a jerk the first time we hopped off without tipping.
