After finishing the business I had downtown, I saw a sightseeing trolley go by and recalled that I had never taken one of these tours on previous visits. I hopped on the next one, a CityView Trolley, and spent well over an hour enthralled by the driver's knowledge of the City and its history! We passed by many places that I had visited on my own on previous trips, but was amazed to get so many details of their significance and historical value as I got from our driver! It was an educational experience for me; and, with the combination of his droll wit, was very lively and entertaining. Highly recommend that this be one of your first activities when visiting Boston.

We were on vacation and wanted to see the inside of Boston. We found a Groupon that saved us over $40 per ticket. The Groupon included a boat tour and a trolley tour. We did the boat tour first. The boat is large, but you need to get inline early for the best seats, the top deck. The boat tour is about 45 minutes. Once you complete that, jump on a trolley. There are 9 stops and it can take you the rest of the day to get to all 9 stops. At stop 2, there are 62 restaurants close by. We had really nice trolley drivers, but our favorite was Uncle Steve. He was funny and knowledgeable.

Took a bus down to Boston and booked trolley tour of the city. We rode the whole hour then went a second time to get off the places of interest to us. Drivers were informative, friendly, and liked doing what they do. The recommended places to eat, visit, gave directions. Great tour and would recommend.
