The quality of the tour depends on the driver. We hopped on and off. We had good guides( Johnny Boston) and terrible ones. Our first driver..a woman ,I did not get her name was awful. She was pushing her own political agenda. This caused an argument with a fellow rider. She went on about how the colonists would not have won the war without their 2nd Amendment rights. “ Had they not had their Constitutional Second Amendment rights we would be British Citizens” What? This is the Revolutionary War, there was no Constitution yet, there was no Second Amendment. It was inappropriate to push a political agenda. It was disgusting to push it based on lies you are telling a captured audience. Do not recommend.

While in Boston for a few days, we decided to ride the hop-on hop-off Trolley Tour (and the Harbor Cruise). We were going to just go from stop 1 to stop 4 (USS Constitution), but our trolley tour guide, Johnny Boston, was so hilarious with such a dry sense of humor, that we decided to ride the entire loop for an hour tour with Johnny! The city was beautiful and having Johnny Boston as our tour guide was a highlight of our entire visit to our visit to Boston. After one loop with Johnny, we enjoyed some of the stops & the trolley was convenient for us. We also took in the harbor cruise the next day, and once again, our tour guide was tremendous with such a great narrative for the history of the city.

Truly a great way to see the City of Boston and hit key spots. All of the drivers are great but Johnny Boston was a step above. He is absolutely hilarious.
