What To Expect
1
Christopher Columbus Waterfront Park
Your North End experience begins at the lifeblood of Boston, the Boston Harbor. Walk through a scenic waterfront park, with views of the harbor, East Boston and the historic wharfs lining Atlantic Ave. We’ll make our way to the heart of the North End, with views of some of the most historic sites and properties in the neighborhood, some dating back to the late 1600s and early 1700s.
2
North End
Delicious food is never far away in the North End. Your guide will introduce you to a small, hidden Italian bakery serving up fresh bread daily. Break bread with your fellow travelers and let the carbs give you the energy to continue your adventure! A proper Italian salumeria is next, and you’ll have a chance to enjoy Italian meats and cheeses at their finest and freshest. Next up, we’ll take in the energy of the North End’s busiest corridor, Hanover Street, where it’s time for a mid-tour break with your guide at a traditional Italian café. Here, if you like, you can purchase and enjoy your choice of a classic cappuccino, espresso or tea or just take a minute off your feet.
3
Old North Church & Historic Site
As you let the caffeine kick in, your guide goes back in time into North End history. Hear stories about some of the most influential events that happened in Boston, including Paul Revere’s Midnight Ride. We make our way to the Old North Church, where we may get to step inside the hallowed walls.

I don't like writing reviews like this but I need to be honest... this was the worst food tour I have ever been on. I have been on several in different cities and some were stronger on the food aspect and some were stronger on the historical aspect. This was very weak on both. The guide was nice and when she spoke it was informative, but, like the food, it was not even close to enough. From the food aspect, there felt like there was very little coordination with the venues we visited. At 2 of the locations we waited about 30 minutes for our food (no one seemed to call ahead, etc.). We only sat at one venue, which was a great stop on the tour - we had an authentic cannoli and outstanding cappuccino. Other than that, our food consisted of 2" of bread, 3" of an Italian sub, and a slice of pizza. During that time of waiting I had wished for much more information to be dispensed. Based on the other ratings and comments from other folks, perhaps this was just a bad day(?) If that is the case, then I wish we had attended on a better day.

Thank you for your feedback. We're disappointed to hear that your tour didn't meet your expectations, however, we're encouraged to know that we can take the feedback and learn for future tours. We're always focused on giving our travelers an experience that is fun, local, original, and memorable. Most importantly, the tour must have value to our travelers, and we always strive to make sure that each traveler is getting what he/she wants out of the experience. Our guides carefully select each food stop and the goal is to bring our guests to the best local neighborhood stops. We're sorry that we fell short and the stops did not meet your expectations. We encourage all of our guests to reach out to us directly if there is a problem on a tour. We can always make it right in the end. Thanks again for the feedback.
