Thank you for your review! There's nothing like taking a tour with a local. And Janet sure is a local Bostonian! Not only does she know her food and her Boston history but she has worked in the city for many years and can really to speak to the culture of the city. We're glad you enjoyed the tour!

Well balanced combination of North End food and history. Our teenaged boys were engaged and enjoyed trying the local specialties. Mazin kept us entertained. The high school teacher in him connected with our boys; he often staged re-enactments to illustrate the history. We did a Freedom Trail walking tour the previous day with Histrionics. I wish we would have booked through Urban Adventures as Mazin was so much more informative, and the group size was smaller. Urban Adventures may not want this advertised, but we saved $30/ticket by purchasing on Groupon. However, even at full price, it would have been worth it! Of note, you can’t enter Old North on Sunday, but the North End is quiet on Sunday morning.
