I had a great time on this historic tavern beer crawl. We visited 4 different pubs all nearly next to each other in the really old historic part of Boston along the freedom trail. Tour guide Jess was excellent, and the amount of history lesson at each stop was perfect, not too much and not too little. She also had great beer recommendations at each pub, and I tried some great local ones that are made specifically for these pubs and unavailable anywhere else. Try the Brick Red at the Point, or the Bell in Hand Ale at the ....Bell in Hand.

We had so much fun with Jessica! She helped our group have such a good time, it was just as fun talking to other people around the country as it was getting to learn new things about Boston’s history. She was also knowledgeable on the local brews and gave some good recommendations!

You don't travel far as the crow files, but you certainly travel a long way back in time. The beer is excellent, and the information is interesting and well-presented. Our guide, Angelo, was relatively new to the job, but he knew his stuff and was a good communicator
