One of the more in depth historical tours we went on. Plus good beer in some really cool local and historic bars in the area. Our guide and group filled the enjoy your beer time with travel stories as we were all from different states. A true highlight of our trip.

We had a lot of fun on our Saturday afternoon pub crawl with tour guide Maddy. She was great and we would recommend this to anyone looking for a fun way to experience Boston!

This was awful. Nothing but negative stories about Sam Adams and how awful he was. They gave us the “other” side of the story that “school did not teach us”. Used foul language because ‘we’re all adults”. The four bars were literally right next to each other and well known. This was not the description given for the tour. Just horrible. Disappointing night.

Hi Cynthia, Thank you for crawling with us. I'm sorry you did not enjoy the crawl. As we say at the very beginning of the tour, there are 2 sides to every story and we like to share the side they left out in 8th grade social studies class. This side of history is often nuanced and, yes, it may not always show the positive side of history that we teach school children. And yes, our guides do curse from time to time - it's the Boston in us. But it is true that our tours are adults only pub crawls. Hearing some curse words kind of comes with the territory of entering a Boston bar. As for the bars being known - that is correct. They are historic taverns and often make lists of places to drink in Boston. And we do keep our bars close together so that guests of all physical capabilities are able to enjoy our tours. Again, I am sorry that you did not enjoy the tour. But I must note that this 1 star review comes exactly 1 day after we did not give you the refund that you demanded despite the fact that you stayed for the entire tour and drank every beer we bought for you. I hope you enjoyed the rest of your time in Boston.
