What To Expect

Statue of Samuel Adams

You'll meet your guide at the Same Adams statue outside of famous Faneuil Hall to begin your history tour pub crawl along. From there you will visit historic and unique bars along The Freedom Trail.

You'll visit historic and unique bars along The Freedom Trail. All of the bars are located within two blocks of each other in the Faneuil Hall section of The Freedom Trail.

My husband and I enjoyed this pub crawl tour as our introduction to Boston. We learned a lot while we enjoyed a few beers. Out tour guide, Jess, was very entertaining and knowledgeable. It's not much walking as the bars are close together, and you don't feel rushed to finish your beers (both of which I wondered about). I would suggest upgrading to the happy hour version of this tour, where 1 beer per bar is included with the price. We didn't go that route and spent a lot more $$ buying separately.

We had a very enjoyable evening with our guide Jessica. She was enthusiastic, very knowledgeable and a good conversationalist. She made us feel very welcome and happily answered all our questions. We learned many details about the history of Boston and Massachusetts. The pubs we went to were good and the beer was robust and refreshing. I particularly like the wares from the smaller craft breweries. The best part of it all was what was supposed to be a larger group of 12 turned out to be only our famlly of 4 on the crawl. So in a sense we got a private tour! Yeah! I would very much recommend taking a Boston Crawling tour and Jessica is one of their best guides.
