Ally was so good. The pub crawl was for all ages over 21, went with my mom who was a little concerned. No need! Everyone enjoyed!

My family moved to the area three years ago and have been lucky to have had so many friends & family visit. Inevitably, we bring each set of guests to the city to do the Freedom Trail. On top of that, I teach and bring my class each year to the Freedom Trail for a field trip. The Independence Pub Crawl was a welcome change from the norm. Lexie was fantastic! She shared so many great facts about the history of the city and she really knows her beer. Lexie has a great sense of humor and definitely kept us entertained. My visiting cousin and I had a blast and I won’t hesitate to repeat the tour with our adult guests in the future.

We debated whether to create our own "DIY" pub crawl or to go on an organized crawl. Deciding to take the Independence Pub Crawl was definitely the right decision and well worth the price! Lexie is a FABULOUS guide and did a great job telling stories about the history of Boston and the pubs! She has excellent presentation skills and a good sense of humour, so the stories were both interesting and entertaining. She asked about personal preferences in beer, and then made excellent recommendations about what beers people should select. When Lexie learned that one of the bars on our crawl had a broken AC system, she quickly made arrangements to visit a different bar where we would be more comfortable. She did this with the consensus of the group, demonstrating great flexibility in managing the tour and our expectations. The tour was fabulous, but I'd like to pass on a tip to people going on the tour - don't make dinner reservations based on the advertised two-hour time. Our tour ran closer to three hours. This was fine with everyone in the group - we appreciated having enough time to finish our beers and ciders without guzzling them down or leaving them behind! This tour was definitely A+!!!
