Join the Sons and Daughters of Liberty and relive the night of December 16, 1773. The Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum is an interactive, guided experience where you will be a part of the single most important event leading up to the American Revolution. Board 18th-century replica sailing ships brig Beaver and Eleanor, and join the countrymen in tossing the tea into the sea! View the only known surviving tea chest from that fateful night, the Robinson Tea Chest. Transport back in time while viewing the multi-sensory film "Let it Begin Here", where you will be a part of Paul Revere's midnight ride and be placed into the battle where the "Shot heard 'round the world" was fired. Complete your experience with a stop in Abigail's Tea Room at the end of your tour to enjoy some tea time. MUSEUM CLOSED ON THANKSGIVING AND CHRISTMAS DAY

My ten year-old daughter absolutely LOVED throwing the tea into the harbor! I recommend you go early so it’s not too crowded. They take you through an exhibit and a short video. Very kid and family friendly. The tea shop was great! Got to sample several different types of tea that were popular during the colonial period. Strongly recommend!

Great cast what a deal A must see. Great for all ages. Made you feel like you were back in time. Interactive. Cast were so professional. Answered all our questions. The ship is amazing.

Really good overview of the history but at times might have been too "boring" for little ones. I would recommend for maybe 11 or older. There were many times when we spent 10-15 minutes just listening to someone talk or watch a film without any other interaction. Fantastic for adults that want a thorough overview of the history.
