We had so much fun at the museum! All of the tour guides were so funny and informative. It was such a great way to learn about history and be entertained all at the same time. We loved throwing in the tea and also all of the informative reenactments and films that were shown. It was a highlight of our trip! I will be inquiring about the Skype opportunities as I am a social studies teacher.

I wasn’t sure what to expect and with a tween, I wasn’t sure how into it he would be. We were all pleasantly surprised. It starts off with characters from the Tea Party at a town hall meeting, providing educational/historical facts that lead to the actual event. It’s very interactive and entertaining. Our tween was interested and engaged. He enjoyed throwing the “tea” over the ship. Our guide was Ruth and she was great. We did go late afternoon but still enough time to do/see everything. I don’t know if the crowds were lighter due to time but our tour was pretty empty which provided for lots of space/attention. If you are going to Boston, you gotta stop here.

Went here a few years ago when we had guests visiting and came back with more guests this time since we enjoyed it so much last time. Unfortunately they allow so many people in each group now that we felt crowded. We were squished into the benches at the beginning and it remained just as crowded. At one point you have to form two lines on two platforms and people in front of me were taller. Last time there was only one row of people per platform so everyone had a great view. Great museum, just wish it wasn't as crowded.
