Join the Sons and Daughters of Liberty and relive the night of December 16, 1773. The Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum is an interactive, guided experience where you will be a part of the single most important event leading up to the American Revolution. Board 18th-century replica sailing ships brig Beaver and Eleanor, and join the countrymen in tossing the tea into the sea! View the only known surviving tea chest from that fateful night, the Robinson Tea Chest. Transport back in time while viewing the multi-sensory film "Let it Begin Here", where you will be a part of Paul Revere's midnight ride and be placed into the battle where the "Shot heard 'round the world" was fired. Complete your experience with a stop in Abigail's Tea Room at the end of your tour to enjoy some tea time. MUSEUM CLOSED ON THANKSGIVING AND CHRISTMAS DAY

This will be one of the most memorable portions of our trip to Boston. Interactive without being uncomfortable. Lively history and humor! We enjoyed being “cast” as one of the original Boston Tea Party members. Abigail’s Tea Room was the perfect way to enhance this experience. The BEST cookies and scones with cream along with sampling the types of tea that would have been thrown overboard- so fun and educational!!!

Never been to a museum before where the paying customers actually take part in a re-enactment of a historical event. Great time had by all. even got to throw the tea overboard. Educational and fun at the same time. Well worth checking this one out.

What a really good way to start a visit to New England to get into the history. The tour guides were very enthusiastic and a great place to visit for all age groups
