Join the Sons and Daughters of Liberty and relive the night of December 16, 1773. The Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum is an interactive, guided experience where you will be a part of the single most important event leading up to the American Revolution. Board 18th-century replica sailing ships brig Beaver and Eleanor, and join the countrymen in tossing the tea into the sea! View the only known surviving tea chest from that fateful night, the Robinson Tea Chest. Transport back in time while viewing the multi-sensory film "Let it Begin Here", where you will be a part of Paul Revere's midnight ride and be placed into the battle where the "Shot heard 'round the world" was fired. Complete your experience with a stop in Abigail's Tea Room at the end of your tour to enjoy some tea time. MUSEUM CLOSED ON THANKSGIVING AND CHRISTMAS DAY

We really enjoyed the museum (I was there with two pre-teen kids). The guides were enthusiastic and engaging without being corny. I learned a lot about the subject matter and it was a lot of fun. From the start, they got the visitors involved and gave a sense of the times and what was going on. It was good how they used different tools to teach - the town meeting at the start, walking around the boat, the movie, the holographs, etc. For those of us who are a little rusty on our history, a bit more background up front might have been helpful. But that is a small nit.
