Overview

Enjoy a spectacular day in the White Mountains of New Hampshire viewing the magnificent fall foliage. Your day will begin with front door hotel pick up service and be brought 2.5 hours north to White Mountains New Hampshire. From here, we will travel through the world renowned Kancamagus Highway. You'll enjoy several stops along this route for pictures and learn mountain history. You'll enjoy a stop in the mountain town of North Conway for lunch and shopping. After lunch we will depart and take a scenic tour on route 302 to for pictures of Mountain Washington in the background then continue on the tour to view where Old Man on the Mountain was perched. Finally returning to Boston and direct hotel drop-off.

This tour is conducted in the White Mountains. Regular, luxury restrooms are sometimes not available or easily accessible. If you cannot use a Mountain restroom (hole in the ground, toilet over it) it might be best to self-regulate fluid intakes. We do the best in providing restroom breaks every hour however, there may be times when it is not possible. Thanks!

The most spectacular byway in the whole country to view fall foliage and New England Excursions travels it on its fall foliage tour.

Boston

Enjoy a day of sightseeing from Boston to the Kancamagus byway on this spectacular fall foliage tour. Your excursion will include small walks in the woods to view waterfalls and foliage colors. Lunch and shopping is roughly 1.5 hours in length in a beautiful mountain town of North Conway. From here, we will venture further into the White Mountains with a final stop at the Omni Mount Washington Hotel to view snow capped mountains and learn hotel history.

Loved the tour, from the start till the end. Gorgeous fall foliage, picture perfect mountains, pretty little gorges and ponds, amazingly beautiful scenery everywhere,what's not to love right.It really exceeded all my expectations.Matt the tour guide was professional and natural.

We loved touring the White Mountains with Matt our tour guide. It was a cold rainy day but we went any way and had a great time. Matt was very informative,telling us all about the state of New Hampshire and the white mountains. He had just the right amount of stops to keep it interesting. Our stops included short walks to a waterfall, over a bridge to a pond in the woods, and to and old railroad bridge, great for taking pictures. We also stopped for snacks and later we stopped for lunch in a nice mountain town. Thank you Matt

We flew half way around the globe from Vietnam for the famous New England fall colors and we were not disappointed. The colors in the White Mountains are magical, with all shades of red, orange, yellow, green... I've seen fall colors in Europe but that was not much compared to this. Matt, our tour guide and a mountain hiker himself, is very knowledgeable about the mountains, the trees, local history and traditions. He showed us the best view points, great restaurants for lunch, souvenirs shops... The day trip was a great success thanks to his expertise and spirit. Also, we had 2 options for fall colors day trip from Boston and Matt's is way better: a small group tour in a new van that really went far into the mountains, where there's real forest. The other one is a big bus tour and only goes to some hilly areas not far from Boston. We were lucky to pick Matt's.
