The choice of restaurants, food samples and tour guide were excellent. Liam was the guide and he was a wealth of knowledge, with memorable anecdotes, stories and history of the neighborhood, restaurants, and food origins. My son and I thoroughly enjoyed the Secret Food tour and would highly recommend. We were also very satisfied with the quality and quantity of the food samples served and would go back to a couple of the restaurants during a future visit to Boston's North End.

This is the second secret food tour I’ve done & it was very enjoyable! We sampled numerous foods from the North End which were delicious! Liam was a great guide!

The word “ disjointed” comes to mind to describe this tour. Having experienced several food tours in many cities, most of which were stellar, this one was not. We began by being rushed away from our first restaurant. We were given “18 minutes max” for what was usually a leisurely 45+ minute experience. It felt rushed and we felt as if they did not want our group there. With 2 of the restaurants, our guide had to go inside and haul the food outside to stand up tables and dole it out. We had nothing to drink throughout- not even water! We had dessert in the middle of the offerings, and ended with some nuts snd ( actually quite tasty!) lobster roll. Everything felt rushed, odd, and out of sequence. The dining experience of sitting at a table was absent, except for the first stop. We stood almost the entire 2 1/2 hours. Certainly not comparable to others we’ve done, although our guide appeared to give a mediocre effort. Disappointing.
